A Modern Walk Through the Bible (Chapel) -- Lawrece
Smith
Many people have a passing acquaintance with the Bible. Some stories are comfortably familiar such as Noah and the ark. Characters such as David or Jesus rise in memory.
Yet, so many people (including Christians) are missing the woven tapestry of the Bible.
May's books will take us from Jeremiah through Ezekiel.
The Barnabas Factor (Room S101) -- James Withrow
Most people face the crushing blows of circumstances. What they
need is not an answer, but a hand to lift them up. One man defined
the trait—Barnabas, the son of Encouragement. What does it take
to be a great encourager? Can you lift others up and become a
modern-day Barnabas?
A Time of Singing (Auditorium) -- Myron
Bruce
Latino Worship (6:00 p.m. in the Chapel)
Beginning June 1:
No Debt, No Sweat Bootcamp (Room S101-103) -- Steve
Diggs' Videos
Our recent No Debt No Sweat seminar highlighted basic
strategies for handling money according to scriptural principles.
But many times we hear something and never apply it.
That’s where the No Debt No Sweat Boot Camp class comes in.
This is a follow-up class in which participants watch a short
video clip from Steve Diggs and then apply the Biblical principles
of money management to their lives. The stewardship study is not a
lecture, but a hands-on, do what needs to be done approach to
Christian money management.
