Robert joined Waterview's staff in 2000. However, he is a "home-grown" product of Waterview's youth group. He has both Bachelor and Masters degrees from Abilene Christian University. He served as the pulpit preacher for two congregations for over 20 years before returning to Waterview.

He serves as the church administrator, responsible for day-to-day functions of the church and guides the outreach efforts of the congregation. In addition, he directs the Strengthening Mission Churches ministry to grow and build small churches.

His wife Vickie also grew up at Waterview. They have two daughters.
